anterior and posterior impingement of ankle

This  28 yt old boy presented with pain both anterior medial and posterior laterally. with clinical evidence of both anterior and posterior impingement, confirmed by diagnostic injection

Would one do both anterior and posterior scopy one stage

  1. prior to proceeding to surgery i would take a lateral oblique view to define the profile of the anterior osteophyte. In a normal lateral view its usually not pretty much evident.(full plantar flexion of ankle, beam at 45 degrees from lateral and cassette placed over the medial malleolus).i would go front and back in one sitting in this scenario.
